Welcome to Mimie Care Home
We believe that feeling cared for begins with feeling at home. The way you take your tea. A favourite book. The stories you love to tell. Those details matter.
Our home brings together calm, comfortable rooms, green outdoor spaces, and the warmth of African hospitality. We make room for each person’s culture, preferences, and daily rhythm.

Good care leaves room for independence. It is patient, personal, and attentive to how someone feels—not just what they need help with.
From a gentle hand on the way to a garden chair to an unhurried conversation, we want everyday moments to feel comfortable and human.

A little reassurance
Finding the right home starts with a conversation about the person, their preferences, and the support they need.
Our five-bedroom home includes three private rooms with large beds and en-suite bathrooms, plus two shared rooms with two single beds in each.
The bathroom design includes shower grab rails, toilet support handles, a shower seat, and a walk-in shower area. A visit is the right time to discuss specific mobility needs.
The garden includes a large lawn, mature shade trees, paved seating areas, flower beds, and a grass-thatched gazebo. Outdoor time can be shaped around individual preferences and abilities.
Start with the person’s routines, room preferences, and support needs. Prepare your questions, meet the team, and discuss the details together before making a decision.
